Epithelial cells line every organ in our body, digestive system, body cavities and makes up our skin. There’s also different kinds of epithelial cells, adenomatous (glandular), squamous (like lung or skin). Then you’ve got layers of transitional cells, like the lining of your bladder. So, it stands to reason, with those cells covering our body inside and out, in and around everything, that would be the most likely cell from which cancer would form.
