[Epithelial Cancer related Question]

No I do not have an infection anywhere no UTIs no bladder infection no kidney infection no kidney stone it is cancer of the bladder. I am female and almost 39. So could someone please tell me why I would have high epithital cells. The normal range is under 10 and mine is over 100 most of the time, so pleae if you can tell me why with this cancer I would have high epithelial cells?

Dear Heaven Bound, Greetings. I am heaven bound too and am a cancer survivor (renal cell carcinoma–which for you was ruled out) and my father had bladder cancer for many years. He died at 86 after 2 heart attacks, 2 strokes, and bladder cancer. The cancer did not kill him. But unlike you, he smoked for many years.
As to why so many epithelial cells. I am sorry that I can’t answer that one. I just thought after seeing so many questions by you tonight that I would write to encourage you. I well remember when I was diagnosed with cancer. I was only 44 and had a cancer that normally only occurs in old men! I went to a cancer support site and chatted and that helped a lot. I use goodsearch.com to research everything nowadays and NOT google or yahoo. I donate my search pennies to the Kidney Cancer Association. I am sure that if you search you will find a bladder cancer equivalent and a chat room too where you can ease some of your anxiety tonight.
One thing that really helped me is that I really realized that I was powerless over the cancer…I had it…I had to accept the reality of the fact…and that unless I let Jesus have total control I would suffer whether I lived or died. I sighed into the sorrow and visualized Jesus at my bedside holding my hand. Suddenly I knew that no matter what, He would hold me through it all and I would be with Him and He with me whatever transpired. From that moment on I was no longer afraid. (My biggest fears were the indignities and embarassments and pain).
I am praying for you and you are welcome to contact me.
